On April 3, following an Internet outage, the man his mother describes as a “despot at home” turned the house “upside down” He first physically assaults his sister, pulling her by the hair and strangling her. In a fit of rage, he brandished a hunting knife which he pointed in the direction of the two women. He finally attacked the police officers who came to question him, in particular a peace officer.. “WHAT YOU ARE DOING HERE IS JUDICIAL SUICIDE!” », exclaims the president of the court, Stéphane Léger, after listing his criminal record, which includes nine sentences, mainly for drug use and insulting agents. The accused, embarrassed, falls into deep silence. After deliberation, Thomas is sentenced to eight months in prison, with a committal warrant.
