The Buch/Reithofen Association for Horticulture and Village Beautification has 30 new members in 2023. With further new additions this year, a total of 351 people are there.
The last new member to date is Pastetten's second mayor, Roswitha Bayer-Siegling. The 16 places for the fruit tree pruning course with tree attendant Manfred Kellner were sold out so quickly that the theory and practical course was offered a second time. The first lecture this year will take place on April 18th - according to secretary Angelika Eibl, there are only around ten places left. This year's travel destinations are Rothenburg der Tauber (June 24th to 27th) and Würzburg ob obberzburg ( June 24th-27th), says secretary Eibl. The association took over the decorations for the children's carnival, planted the Bucher and Pastettener welcome boards at the entrances to the town. There were also lectures, for example on pest control in the garden, and craft activities with honorary chairwoman Rita Rott.
