Strasbourg wants to go further with gynecological leave. Deputies are working from this Thursday on the establishment of menstrual leave.
If this deliberation is adopted in mid-May, it will be applied from September 2024 for civil servants of the Strasbourg Eurometropolis. This experiment will last 2 years. If menstrual leave takes into consideration all the discomfort caused by menstruation, Strasbourg system goes further by encompassing all the pain caused by menopause and all gynecology problems.
