Mercedes-Benz is recalling around 250,000 cars worldwide. A defect could lead to engine problems and even a risk of fire.
In Germany, more than 37,000 vehicles are probably affected. As a precautionary measure, certain parts of the affected vehicles would be replaced, the Mercedes spokesman said.
