Mexico is preparing a new immigration station after the fire in Ciudad Juárez that left 40 dead. With the station located in the middle of the Chihuahua Desert, the López Obrador Government seeks to make up for a problem in the border city.

The station will be located at kilometer 72 of the Pan-American highway, and which was abandoned since November 28, 2013, when the then president Enrique Peña Nieto decided to eliminate several tax checkpoints parallel to the border with the US.
