Her husband, also accused after her disappearance, took his own life. A judge issued her death declaration in October. Fotis Dulos had been charged with murder, kidnapping and other crimes linked to this case before his death in January 2020. He was under house arrest after posting $6 million bail when he attempted to commit suicide at his home.
