Migrant arrivals via sea down by half so far this year. 9,479 migrants landed in Italy between fromJanuary 1 and March 22, compared to 20,364 in that time frame last year.
The figure was higher, however, than the 6,379 migrants that landed in the equivalent period in 2022. 688 unaccompanied foreign minors had landed in. Italy so far in 2018, down from about 2,000 in the same period in 2023. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED © Copyright ANSA.
