President Javier Milei gave a conference this Thursday at a university in Miami. He said that he came to power "by a triple whammy" and then surprised an audience.

Milei described the senator and head of the UCR as “a clumsy, mediocre and terrible economist.” This Friday he travels to Texas to meet with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X (former Twitter), the President says. The students arrived enthusiastic. “If I get to take a photo with him, I'll die and so will my dad,” says a 17-year-old high school student who followed the President on Twitter and Instagram. The President will travel early in the morning on a charter from Miami to Austin, Texas, a three-hour flight. The presentation was fundamentally linked to the role of the State, and Milei cited theorists such as Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman, Vilfredo Paretto and John Keynes (whom he called a nefarious being), among others.
