The Military Attorney General's Office has arrested 16 soldiers for the events in Nuevo Laredo. The apprehension of the soldiers occurs days after EL PAÍS unveiled a video in which the uniformed appear allegedly shooting at some men who have just disarmed.
The soldiers involved are imprisoned since this Friday, in the prison of Military Camp Number 1-A, in Mexico City. The bureaucratic choreography of communiqués and arrests emulates that of February, in another episode of alleged military malpractice.
