The Church of the Redeemer in Fürstenfeldbruck will be completely renovated from May. A church is to be built within the church - with a movable altar, lectern and baptismal font.

The project will cost around one million euros. An art competition kicks off this weekend. The church was actually supposed to be finished for its 100th anniversary in 2027. But due to the downturn in the construction industry, the craftsmen have time and now things are happening very quickly. The grand opening is planned for spring 2025, but only 850,000 euros has been raised so far. Only the community reserves a piece of land on which it can build the church. The community raises most of it from the land it reserves, which it has now become one of the most reserves in the country. The original church was built in 18th century, but it is now listed as a national monument. The current church is built in the 19th Century, and it is located in the town of Gängen.
