Former MP Anne-Christine Lang was sentenced on Tuesday 9 May to a fine of 60,000 euros and a three-year ineligibility sentence. She admitted misappropriation of her mandate expenses allowance (IRFM) between 2015 and 2017.

The former elected socialist then LREM has however obtained an exemption from registration of her conviction in the criminal record. Former PS First Secretary Jean-Christophe Cambadélis was denied a CRPC. His criminal trial is scheduled for October 2022.
