The IDF's investigation into the incident that happened last Tuesday night in the center of the Gaza Strip was led by Major General Yoav Har-Evan. The Chief of Staff is expected to depose an officer with the rank of colonel and reprimand the commander of the Southern Command, the division commander and the brigadier general.
"The attack was carried out in violation of the orders and instructions to open fire," says the investigation. The army said: "The IDF takes seriously the serious incident that claimed the lives of seven humanitarian aid workers, uninvolved and innocent"
