Moosbach: (No) trouble with the beaver. The people of Gmund are calling for the community to intervene.
But the responsible authorities see no need for this. Many animals in the Moosbach are threatened with extinction - not just beavers. It is currently being examined whether a small dam could be built to protect the valuable agricultural area built due to the beavers' activities. The resulting wetland biotope is considered to be more valuable than the previous compensation area.
