Morattis selling 35% of Saras to Vitol - Business.co.uk. Chairman Massimo Moratti, former owner of Inter Milan football club, said the deal was the best way to safeguard the future of the Sarroch refinery outside Cagliari.
Unions voiced concern over the takeover saying they wanted to see Vitol's industrial plan for the plant. The company has been supplying about a quarter of Italy's oil since his father Angelo set it up in 1962.
