Five suspects were indicted Sunday in Paris, including for drug trafficking in organized gang. Between 2.4 and 2.6 tons of cannabis resin were seized Wednesday in a truck in Flins-sur-Seine.
The drugs were to be transported to the nearby town of Les Mureaux. A "significant seizure" whose market value is estimated "at more than 20 million euros," said Wednesday the Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin. In 2022, a record 128.6 tonnes of cannabis were seized in France.
