"The West needs" to participate in the conference on peace in Ukraine in Switzerland "only to give weight to a certain 'collective ultimatum' that they will present to Russia" This was stated by the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. "There can be no trust even in Switzerland", which "sides with Ukraine, supports the Kiev regime, applies anti-Russian sanctions and adopts strategies that exclude Russia from the European security system", she added.

"The intention expressed by the organizers of the conference to isolate common elements from the initiatives of other countries is nothing more than a trick," she said.  "We hope that our partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America will be vigilant and not get carried away in another anti- Russian adventure", said Zakharov.  “Any measure that ignores Russia's position and is based on the provisions of the 'Zelensky formula' ultimuma is divorced from reality and has no prospects,” according to the spokesperson.
