Shocking images that were recorded of the damage caused by the 7.5 magnitude earthquake went viral. The earthquake on the coasts of the Asian archipelago generated an alarm in Japan, where waves of three meters are expected.
In one of the videos, a building of at least five floors collapsed in its structure and was left tilted, creating a danger for its inhabitants and passers-by. Other records reported landslides in hills and mountains. The fall of rocks and earth that fell on roads and areas surrounding towns was captured by the people themselves.
