The future of the popular pizzeria “Da Antonio” in Munich is uncertain. New building plans could mean the end of the restaurant.

“I have to do something to stay,” says the 51-year-old owner of the pizzeria. Some have even started collecting signatures to preserve “ da Antonio’s” existence.. The planned new buildings are intended to create “urgently needed, affordable housing’ in Fürstenried, according to the Thalkirchen-Obersendling-Forstenried-Fürstenied-Solln district committee.. Possible options have already been suggested and other locations in the district are currently being examined.. A spokesman for the municipal housing company Münchner Wohnen explains that for “building law reasons” only the location of the current restaurant is available for the planned daycare center. ‘As of today, construction will begin in 2028.’
