Several loud bangs startled people in Puchheim on Wednesday evening. Police received calls from various corners of the city - including Adenauerstrasse, Kennedystrasse and Allinger Strasse as well as the area around the train station.
A spokesman suspects fireworks were set off. If these were ignited in exits to underground car parks, for example, the reverberation could intensify the sound. However, nothing is known about any damage. Many residents also report ‘explosions’ on Facebook.
