Aged 16 to 17, the three young men are being prosecuted in connection with a shooting which broke out in the west of the city in May 2023. The three adolescents are prosecuted within the framework of a judicial information opened on November 2, 2023 by the specialized interregional jurisdiction of Rennes.
The magistrates have been responsible since last fall to clarify the circumstances of the shooting which took place in Nantes, on the night of May 27 to 29. Although “not necessarily linked to each other”, according to the Nantes prosecutor's office, these violent episodes testified to struggles between different groups of drug traffickers.
