Jorge Benegas (47) was arrested for laundering money from Peruvian Julio Rodríguez Granthon, a supplier to the Monos. He also has a conviction for his links with drug lord Esteban Lindor Alvarado.
In October 2021, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison as the organizer of the illicit association that laundered money for drug lord. BenEGas and his wife, Valeria Cecilia Nasca (45) were trusted figureheads in the Alvarados structure. They laundered their money through companies that were listed in his name, but Nazca was shot to death in May 2023 in front of a warehouse, southwest of Rosario.
