A man intentionally crashed into a police barrier during a chase this Saturday in Villeurbanne. The driver had just tried to escape a police check in Vaulx-en-Velin when he had been spotted at the wheel of a stolen car.
The chase ended in the Grandclément district of VilleUrbanne. Facing the police barrier, the driver of the vehicle drove into aPolice car placed across the road. This car hit another vehicle behind it, causing injuries to the nine police officers. Three of them were taken to hospital without their life threatening.
