Driver in his fifties made an impressive exit from the road on Thursday in the town of Belvédère (Alpes-Maritimes), located in the hinterland of Nice. His vehicle fell nearly 150 meters into a ravine after a turn, reported the gendarmerie and the departmental fire and rescue service.
The fifty-year-old would have remained stuck for around 40 hours between the moment of his disappearance, his fall and his location. The man was able to be extracted from the passenger compartment alive but seriously injured, it is specified in Figaro.
