Le Moulin Rose in Belbeuf, near Rouen, opened its doors in 1927. It has hosted major fashionable stars including Louis Armstrong and Frank Alamo.

The club has only closed its doors twice in its entire history, during the Second World War and during the confinements imposed during the health crisis. Since February 25, 2024, the doors have been closed again for a major facelift after a change of ownership. “It’s a disappearing era” says owner Nicolas Lamotte.
