A study by the ministerial statistical service for internal security, delivered this Thursday, reveals that the police and gendarmerie services recorded no less than 444,700 victims of physical violence in 2023. In eight years, the cohort of people attacked has increased by 60%, with nearly 230,000 more victims recorded compared to 2016.
