[HIGHLIGHTS] Netherlands: Houellebecq allowed to see the film X in which he starred before its broadcast

Michel Houellebecq authorized on appeal to watch a film in which he appears. Judges rejected his request to block the release of the film Kirac 27.

Court ruled that the film must create the illusion of erotic scenes with a lookalike. The film will be shown four weeks before its scheduled broadcast on May 26. The French writer will publish an account of his setbacks with the film in a book on May 24. He will also release a book entitled A Few Months in My Territory.
