Two men, whom the police suspected of committing the act, were arrested during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Neuilly-sur-Seine. In their car, they had all the paraphernalia for a home-jacking.
This arrest comes in a context of an explosion in the number of burglaries and an increase in home-jackings in this upscale sector of the west of the department. Celebrities such as singer Vitaa and YouTuber Guillaume Pley have been victims of home jacking.
