New escape in the City: four prisoners escaped from a police station in Caballito. Two have already been recaptured.
The episode occurs a few days after eleven criminals escaped from two Buenos Aires police stations between Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1. The head of the Buenos Aires Government affirmed that the number of prisoners continued to grow since December and maintained that 94% of those detained are from the National or Federal Justice Department. There are currently 2,005 prisoners in the city's prisons.
