The study of such a development will be entrusted to Jean-François Ricard, still today the national anti-terrorism prosecutor. Ricard will tomorrow be the special advisor to the Minister of Justice.

The framework of the bill remains the reform of the status of the repentant, on the model of the Italian anti-mafia law, and the creation of special assize courts extended to all aspects of organized crime, including the settling of scores. The task is complicated because this dispute has never been centralized. The legal struggle rests on two pillars: on the one hand, the eight interregional jurisdictions... and on the other hand, the national prosecutor's office. The bill is already drafted, but the measure is not provided for in the new text devoted to organized crime. It is not clear whether the Chancellery is seriously interested in it. The proposal was made at the hearings of the Senate Commission on the scale of drug trafficking. The idea is to create a fourth autonomous national prosecutor's office entirely dedicated to the fight against organized crime.
