Newsom promotes campaign in Republican states that seek to prohibit travel to access abortions. It will begin with a television ad aimed at "Trump Republicans" in Tennessee.
Newsom: "These guys are not only restricting the rights, the self-determination of a young woman to have a child" It will be extended to other states where travel restrictions for minors to access the procedure are being evaluated, such as Oklahoma, Mississippi and Alabama. The announcement comes just a week after the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that embryos are babies.
