Nice: imbroglio around the order for a large statue of Joan of Arc. The prefecture took legal action for non-compliance with public procurement rules concerning a statue estimated at 170,000 euros.
It was the artist “Missor”, specialized in this type of production of historical figures with a claimed political approach, who had inherited this demand. “There will be a statue” says the president of the authority, Gaël Nofri, among the closest elected officials of Mayor Christian Estrosi.
