The maut1.de toll box allows free travel at toll stations on toll roads in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. There is also a one-time activation fee of 19.90 euros and an annual fee of 74.90 Euro.
Austria has so far stood in the way – "Legal requirements are not yet in place" in Austria and Slovenia. The ADAC also sells the toll box from maut 1.de. It is cheaper to travel with the Bip&Go transponder, which costs to use.
