Protesters need to internalize what the last step will make a difference for the protest: mass disobedience. When the government intentionally violates the basic agreements between the state and the citizen, it is no longer a government but a coalition of gangs that must be removed.
The state - any state - must not be tainted by any religious or messianic meaning. The responsibility for the protection of basic social values must return to society itself until the government is cleansed of its malignant plagues. The current Israeli regime is an undemocratic regime that uses violent measures against those who disagree with it. And thus the citizen and his country must resist! Because if you are not committed to change, you are part of the problem. If the government imprisons its opponents, we will fill the prisons until they become prisons in the words of Henry David Thoreau: "Under a government that puts an honest person in detention without the justification of an honest detention, a person is a prison"
