U.S. officials announced Wednesday that the United States faces a new and "grave threat" to its security.

Media reports claimed it related to Russia's plan to deploy an anti-nuclear weapon. According to the American channel ABC and the New York Times, the supposed Russian project is only in the development stage and does not pose an immediate threat. The Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov, estimated that it was a “ruse” by the White House to push the American Congress to adopt the important aid package of 60 billion dollars for Ukraine.
