Omega creates a laboratory to do without COSC. This new Precision Laboratory is now an alternative officially authorized by the SAS (Swiss Accreditation Service) to carry out independent tests.
This Precision Laboratory will be spread over two Swiss sites, one in Bienne and the other in Villeret, offering more than 1,000 m2 dedicated to chronometric tests. The laboratory measures and evaluates each alternation of a movement with a precision ten times greater than that usually in force.
