Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin announced that 326,000 people could attend the event on the Seine, in Paris, on July 26. 222,000 tickets will be free and distributed by “trusted third parties”, as the minister called them: the State, the host cities of the Games, the Île-de-France region or even the Paris 2024 organizing committee.
