The Municipality of Bat Yam promotes a recognition ceremony for extraordinary women fighters and volunteers who worked in the Iron Swords War. The criteria for applying are: a resident of the city over the age of 18 who is a source of inspiration in Bat Yam, fighters and supporters of regular and reserve combat, inspiring with their contribution to the war effort or alternatively local women whose contribution to community and the national effort during the war is significant and has an impact in all fields.
This year it was decided to single out the traditional Ishet Chail ceremony in the city.
