Justine Triet's Anatomy of a Fall is in the running for the Palme d'Or. German actress Sandra Hüller played the model wife of the commandant of Auschwitz-Birkenau in Jonathan Glazer's laboratory experiment, The Zone of Interest.
She plays Sandra, a successful writer living in a secluded chalet in the mountains with her boyfriend, Samuel, their 11-year-old son, Daniel, and their dog. The dog has an important role in this story that really begins when Samuel is found dead at the foot of the house, his skull exploded after a fall from the balcony.
