Le Figaro Vin tasted 50 red wines and selected 15, all rated from 89/100 and available from 18 euros. The island of beauty produces wines with personality, thanks to native grape varieties now claimed and a ready place in gastronomy.

Wines to be consumed all year round, summer and winter, some of which will find their place in your cellar and will be happily rediscovered after a few years of aging. Others go against the preconceived idea that some may have of island wines, with fluidity, suppleness, and fruitiness. Clos Alivu - Patrimonio 2021: "Slender on the palate, delicious and harmonious" Clos Nicrosi - Stecaja Rouge 2022: "Plant and animal notes', and 'A delight' A very pretty nose, marked by the exhilarating purity of red fruits and the seductiveness of spices. On the palate, the wine is pure and seductive with its scent of faded rose. A deep vintage; designed for keeping but which remains digestible. A full nose, which flirts between concentrated fruit (black cherry) and herbaceous elegance (shiso leaf). And what a creaminess in the mouth! We also find liveliness, saltiness, sapiness, like the sweet bitterness of a flower petal. A tangy finish full of finesse and elegance, with a slightly chalky sensation. A wine full of character.
