Garmisch-Partenkirchen is scheduled to have two race weekends in the winter of 2024/25. The program will be finalized at the beginning of May at the FIS conference in Slovenia.

The coveted men's descent on the Kandahar will take place again - as a dress rehearsal directly before the World Cup in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The women's downhill and super-G are planned for the last weekend in January (25th/26th), and the men's will be guests on February 2nd. The calendar originally looked a little different in the first draft: two men's races were scheduled after the World Championships inSaalbach. Downhill and Super-G at the end of February would have been difficult for the organizers. The current solution represents a good compromise, says Garmisch Ski Club chairwoman Martina Betz. “I think that’s great above all, above all we just want to drive from the top to the bottom,” says the SCGwoman.
