A 52-year-old farmer from Pischlach drove his tractor and trailer along the state road between Rottenbuch and Böbing last Friday. Due to the heavy trailer, the tractor's brakes overheated on Böbinger Berg.
Ultimately, the underbody caught fire and the Deutz tractor burned out completely. The trailer remained intact. There was material damage amounting to around 25,000 euros. The vehicle was extinguished by the fire departments from RottenBuch, B Öbing and Schönberg.
