Painting the floor of a raw concrete terrace, a wooden balcony or more generally any exterior floor, helps protect against aging or stains. Painting a concrete floor is carried out, for example, on new concrete, provided the latter is allowed to dry for at least a month before painting.
If the concrete has already been painted and is still in good condition, a quick sanding and cleaning should suffice. The surface must be clean, dusted, without greasy or powdery residue. For general covering, an abrasive covering is mandatory.
