Palma police officer fined two million for renting 68 tiny storage rooms as a home. The tenants of one of the buildings that houses substandard housing express their concern about having to leave the rooms: “We have nowhere to go” The Housing Department of the Government of the Balearic Islands has imposed a fine of two million euros on the company owned by a local police officer in Palma.

The police officer was arrested for the marketing of these substandard Housing last November and was released, awaiting trial.
