Six months before the Games, the Ministry of Transport has lifted the veil on the rules which will apply, in terms of travel, in the cities concerned by the competition. To prevent local residents and other visitors from being caught off guard, the executive has launched a website listing all the rules that will apply during the Olympics.

“Any vehicle circulating on an Olympic route without having received prior authorization is liable to a fine of 135 euros and legal action,” warns the website. The authorities are calling on Ile-de-France residents to adapt their lifestyle during the weeks of competition.
