The girl, schooled in CP class at Jean-Jaurès elementary school, was found lifeless at the bottom of the basin. The little girl was reportedly admitted to intensive care after being transported by firefighters to hospital.
The Georges Hermant pool announced on its Instagram account that it would be closed Tuesday, June 6 all day. A psychological cell has been set up to accompany the students present during the tragedy. The children were accompanied by the three class teachers, two teachers from the City of Paris (PVP) and two lifeguards of the pool manager.
