A man born in 1989 in Pakistan was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention. He is suspected of having raped several prostitutes in the Bois de Boulogne.
The women were attacked just after an encounter with a customer, in the middle of the night. Some said they had been threatened with a knife, a nunchaku – a combat weapon used in Asian martial arts –, brass knuckles, a baseball bat and a firearm. The Pakistani man allegedly contested the accusations while in police custody.
