Paris: a trader repaves the damaged road in front of his bar at his own expense. Faced with "the City's inability to react", the owner of The Labo located rue des Lombards (Ier) paid out of his own pocket for the renovation of the road.
Due to a major design issue, the roadway has large holes and unstable slabs which pose a question of pedestrian safety. Olivier Robert, manager of the bar for 11 years, has picked up more than one passerby in recent years.
