A tunnel being formed was discovered by chance on Tuesday morning in Paris, near the La Santé prison. The discovery was made shortly before midday by an Enedis technician who was working “in a well for electrical connections” The agent noted the presence of bags filled with rubble as well as a bed, according to a source close to the investigation.
The work, artisanal, already extended several tens of meters in the direction of the prison, up to the corner of Boulevard Auguste-Blanqui. His access was immediately condemned by the Paris town hall services.
