Ramey street is less bourgeois than the Caulaincourt and Custine streets which cut it in the middle. Devoid of quality shops a few years ago, this street at the foot of Montmartre is now a culinary El Dorado where good food is served.

This artery runs down the eastern side of the Butte, halfway between the Sacré-Cœur, the popular district of Goutte-d'Or and the town hall of the 18th arrondissement.
