The Environmental Authority has also expressed several reservations about the project. The ZTL will be established in Paris Center as soon as the Paralympic Games end in 2023, the City of Paris announced in May 2023. The project was a flagship campaign promise of the 2020 municipal elections, the contours of which have since been largely revised by the police headquarters.
